Nebraska Sen. John Fredrickson toured UNMC on Aug. 25.
The legislator, who represents District 20 in the city of Omaha, met with UNMC Chancellor H. Dele Davies, MD, and Jeff Kratz, UNMC director of government relations, during a visit to the Omaha campus that included meetings at the National Cancer Institute-designated Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center.
Sen. Fredrickson, a member of the legislature’s Health and Human Services committee, said he’s enjoyed working with the medical center.
“Especially in my work with Health and Human Services Committee, I am always impressed by and moved by the innovation, the research, the quality of care and the overall service that the medical center provides to Nebraskans and to our state.”
