The University of Nebraska Board of Regents will hold a special meeting at 11 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 25, in the board room at Varner Hall, 3835 Holdrege St., in Lincoln, and via remote electronic means pursuant to Neb. Rev. Stat. § 84-1411. The meeting is open to the public and will be livestreamed here.

During the meeting, the board will approve four individuals to represent the University of Nebraska Board of Regents on the Nebraska Medicine board. The individuals the board will consider are a combination of community members and regents.
The selection of board members marks the next step in formalizing Nebraska Medicine’s new governance structure. During a special meeting in September, the Board of Regents approved the addition of the Omaha Community Foundation as a governing member of Nebraska Medicine.
