Charlotte Evans, associate vice chancellor and chief of police for the University of Nebraska Police and Public Safety Department, shared the following message on Tuesday (Sept. 29).
To all UNMC students, faculty and staff,
Keeping our university safe is a group effort. It begins with being informed.
This email is to notify UNMC students, faculty and staff that our most recent Annual Campus Safety and Fire Report now is available.
The publication is produced in compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act of 1990, 20 U.S.C. Sec 1092. It includes information relating to crime statistics and policies concerning public safety.
In addition, the Department of Police & Public Safety website includes helpful information about the department’s services. Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to review the information on a routine basis and contact public safety with questions or concerns.
Thank you for working with the department of police and public safety to keep UNMC a safe campus where everyone can thrive. It takes all of us.
