Email UNMC Bookstore to order branded white coats, scrubs, apparel

All Nebraska Medicine and UNMC lab coats and embroidery, as well as all custom apparel, should be ordered through the UNMC Bookstore via email, not on the website.

Lab coat and scrubs embroidery specifications have been developed to maximize brand recognition and legibility, and the UNMC Bookstore website is not set up for custom orders of this nature.

The email account is monitored by a manager onsite at the UNMC Omaha Campus.

UNMC Bookstore creates ‘adoption’ portal for textbooks, course materials

The UNMC Campus Bookstore has reintroduced its Adoption & Insights Portal (AIP), providing a source for researching, adopting and sharing insights about textbooks and course materials.

The portal will be open Oct. 15, with an “adoption” deadline of Nov. 20.

Submitting adoption requests early and directly to the bookstore ensures that students will get the right course materials for their course at the most affordable price.

Faculty can use the AIP portal for quick material lookup, along with new edition pending and historical course data. The AIP portal also provides reporting that allows faculty and leaders to see adoption rates by department, down to the course level, along with many other statistics.

With the new platform, faculty and department administrators can:

  • Research and adopt course materials in one convenient place
  • Compare estimated student price and available formats before adopting
  • Save time with the one click re-adopt feature (will be available on future terms)
  • Review affordable alternatives to your selection, like Open Educational Resources (OER) and BNC OER+ Courseware
  • Learn about affordable options for your students like Price Match and First Day
  • Receive 24/7 support

As a part of this launch, the bookstore also has integrated the platform with the campuses Single Sign On (SSO) technology. Access AIP here.
