How I fell in love with vascular surgery:
Vascular surgery is the best specialty. We see all ages and types of patients. Vascular disease does not discriminate. I often see patients who have been struggling to walk because their legs get tired so quickly. I can help these people walk again. I see people who have aneurysms which, if ruptured, are oftentimes fatal. I get to fix these aneurysms so patients will not have to worry. Vascular disease is a chronic disease, just like heart disease, so we see our patients back on a regular basis. It is nice to really develop a relationship with our patients.
