COM Student of the Month – Gage Rensch, first-year medical student

Each month, InterCOM will highlight a “Student of the Month” from the College of Medicine. Students will be featured for their participation in activities outside of medical school and for making a difference in the community. The goal is to recognize students for what they are doing and to encourage other students to get involved in the community. After all, medical school should be much more than studying.

A message from the dean

Portion of 41st Street to be blocked

In an effort to extend alternate power feeder circuits to the new Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center and the existing Medical Sciences Building, Durham Outpatient Center and Munroe-Meyer Institute facilities, a portion of 41st street will be blocked to pedestrian and vehicular traffic.
