Merging offices to provide better services to medical school

The landscape of medical education is undergoing a significant paradigm shift. In an effort to meet these needs and enhance medical student education, the Office of Medical Education (OME) has been formed. The OME merged existing services, bringing the Educational Support Office (ESO) and the Curriculum and Educational Research Office (CERO) under one umbrella.

The University of Nebraska Medical Center has broken ground on a new 6,525-square-foot addition and 11,845 square feet renovation to two floors of the Student Life Center building at 40th and Jones streets.

The University of Nebraska and University of Nebraska Foundation announced Oct. 27 that the Campaign for Nebraska: Unlimited Possibilities, which concludes Dec. 31, has raised more than $1.8 billion for the University of Nebraska.

Free Oct. 11 health, wellness event to feature new views on exercise, physiology

The Nebraska Physiological Society invites the public to attend a free health event on Oct. 11 including a talk by best-selling author and former Sports Illustrated investigative journalist, David Epstein. The event will be held in UNMC’s Durham Research Center from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
