Mark your calendars to join the UNMC and Nebraska Medicine Emerging Professionals as they kick off the New Year with more professional development and community engagement events. Events listed below do require pre-registration.

Since the launch of the Emerging Professionals Program (EPP) back in 2017, the group has hosted numerous professional development events, given more than 350 hours back to the community and has grown to nearly 700 members. Jan. 14, 1:30-3 p.m.: Ditch the Drama with Cy Wakeman

Feb. 13, 11 a.m.-noon: Community Engagement Speaker Series

Join the Emerging Professionals at the Community Engagement Speaker Series event featuring a guest speaker from Girls Incorporated of Omaha (Girls Inc.). Registration will open soon on the EPP website. By the end of this presentation you will learn:

  • The mission of the organization
  • Key programming of the organization
  • Volunteer opportunities

Feb. 27, Marco LeRoc (time TBA)

Marco LeRoc is a best-selling author, an international speaker and a coach. He provides best business management and leadership development programs. Marco will be speaking on the topic of self leadership and adversity in intentional living. Registration will open soon on the EPP website.
