UNMC Chancellor Jeffrey P. Gold, M.D., and Chris Kratochvil, M.D., will appear June 23 on the inaugural airing of "Nebraska Forward," a new interactive talk show designed to help Nebraskans move forward amid COVID-19.

Produced by News Channel Nebraska (NCN), Dr. Gold and various other guests will join NCN founder Mike Flood each week to discuss innovative ways that the state will emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic.

The June 23 program will discuss the future of high school and college sports with Jay Bellar, executive director of the Nebraska School Activities Association, and Dr. Kratochvil, executive director of the Global Center for Health Security at UNMC and Nebraska Medicine, who is chairing the Big Ten's Committee on Infectious Diseases.

The program will air each Tuesday from 3 to 4 p.m. on News Channel Nebraska and on Facebook Live. The show also re-airs on Wednesday evening at 7 p.m. Viewers also may watch via the free NCN app or on the NCN website.
