Research/professional) interests: I am primarily interested in finding the nexus between technology and medicine to improve the patients’ overall wellness. I believe the innovative adoption of technology such as AI, 3D printing and open-sourced medicine can end global health disparities.
How I fell in love with emergency medicine: I fell in love with emergency medicine during my time as a volunteer at the Ben Taub General Hospital ER in Houston. It was there that I was able to appreciate the role emergency departments played in the overall wellbeing of patients from all ways of life.
