Beginning Wednesday, Nov. 10, the north stairwell in Parking Lot 5 will be closed so that a new curtain-wall window system can be installed. It will remain closed through Monday, Dec. 20.
Lot 5 is the major parking structure just east of Clarkson Tower. It is located on the east side of 42nd Street, between Dewey Avenue and Harney Street.
Currently, elevator 38 is being replaced; that work will be completed on Monday, Nov. 8. Once elevator 38 is fully operational, elevator 37 will be replaced. At all times, the south stairwell next to the elevators will remain 100 percent assessable.
