Research/professional interests: I am interested in inflammatory conditions of the eye and retinal disorders.
How I fell in love with ophthalmology: I became interested in medicine watching my dad, a family practice physician. It was not until I saw a mentor of mine perform intraocular surgery for the first time and describe inflammatory disorders of the eye while I was a medical student that I became passionate about saving vision.
