Two blood drives to be held on UNMC campus

The Nebraska Community Blood Bank, the provider of blood for Nebraska Medicine, will hold two blood drives on campus in July and August.

On Tuesday, July 26, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., the bloodmobile will be parked in front of the Durham Research Towers across from the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center. On Thursday, Aug. 11, from 8 a.m. to noon, the drive will be held inside the Center for Healthy Living gym.

Appointments are required. Donors can schedule an appointment for the drive online. Enter sponsor code NMRT for July 26 and CHL for Aug. 11 or call 402-486-9414. For assistance, contact Peter Pellerito at 402-559-5253 or via email.
