Penne for your thoughts? Listening lunches planned

What is it like to be a faculty member at UNMC today? The UNMC Office of Faculty Development and the Career Development and Engagement Committee are hosting a series of four listening lunches to hear faculty perspectives.

In companion with other campus efforts, the informal sessions will summarize the faculty experience and use an interprofessional lens to consider the professoriate of the future. The conversations are open to faculty from all colleges. They will be grouped by faculty rank: full professor, associate professor, assistant professor and new faculty hired after 2020.

The first listening lunch kicks off with full professors on Oct. 14. Individuals at this rank who want to wish to share their perspectives can register on Engage.

All faculty members are encouraged to attend the session with their rank group. Registration for all listening sessions can be found on the faculty development website.
