How I fell in love with obstetrics and gynecology: I first fell in love with obstetrics and gynecology when I was in high school and met with a provider who took the time to walk me through all the changes that come in adolescence. I remember thinking that I wanted to help others just like she had helped me. My love for obstetrics and gynecology was reignited when I was in medical school and delivered my first baby. The parents were a young couple, and as I placed the infant on the mother’s abdomen, the father was looking down at the infant with tears in his eyes. I remember thinking, “This is it. This is what I want to do!” It is such an honor and a privilege to be a part of that experience for families, and one that I will always cherish.
