LiveGreen: Take the sustainability engagement survey

Every few years, the UNMC Office of Sustainability conducts a survey that asks about experiences and opinions regarding sustainability efforts at UNMC and Nebraska Medicine.

Sustainability efforts include actions and decisions that are environmentally, socially and financially responsible and that benefit present and future generations. The last sustainability engagement survey was distributed in 2019, so the goal is to have a strong response this year.

Survey feedback allows the sustainability office to directly measure progress toward campus engagement goals and, indirectly, other sustainability goals. The questionnaire will help identify opportunities to increase awareness and education and will enhance understanding of which areas are most important to students and colleagues.

Click here to take the anonymous 8- to 10-minute survey and share any thoughts about sustainability and climate action at the med center. The survey will close at 6 p.m. on Dec. 9.

The survey asks respondents to weigh in on their understanding of and views about the climate crisis, which will inform the med center’s climate action planning efforts. This input will help assess current efforts and effectively plan for a more resilient future.

After finishing the survey, respondents will be directed to a separate survey page where they can enter their name into a drawing for one of eight $25 gift cards to local businesses.
