How I fell in love with neuropsychology: I have always been fascinated with brain-behavior relationships, which is why I sought a degree in psychology. As I gained more knowledge and training, I fell in love with neuropsychology. I was in awe seeing how our tests detected focal deficits and the validation it brought to patients to “see” what they are experiencing. Our unique training and practice help us understand cognition, behavior and the brain, which in turn helps patients in learning about diagnoses, treatment planning and ways to bolster their quality of life and in supporting the individual’s family.

  • American Psychological Association
  • American Board of Professional Psychology
  • American Board of Clinical Neuropsychology

Three things people may not know about me:

  • I love to travel and try different foods unique to the community.
  • I love the fall, which, for me, typically begins when Starbucks releases the first pumpkin spice latte of the season.
  • I love all things Christmas. There’s something about the energy, lights and excitement during the month of December that brings me such joy.
