How I fell in love with my specialty: I chose family medicine for two main reasons. First, family medicine is intellectually challenging. Patients come in with many different concerns from head to toe, and I enjoy the challenge of figuring out exactly what is going on to come up with an appropriate treatment plan. The second thing I enjoy is the lifelong relationships with patients and their families.
Three things people may not know about me:
- One of my favorite things to do in Omaha is $5 movie nights on Tuesdays at ACX theaters.
- I am passionate about sports. I enjoy golfing in my free time, and I participate in a competitive 12-team fantasy football league every fall with my friends.
- You can never go wrong with a burrito bowl from Chipotle or Popeye’s chicken.
