UNMC Chancellor Jeffrey P. Gold, MD, received his flu vaccine Monday from Nebraska Medicine, while sporting UNMC Lab-wear. Last month, Dr. Gold and Nebraska Medicine CEO Jim Linder, MD, sent out a joint message to the UNMC and Nebraska Medicine communities urging them to get the influenza vaccine. The med center’s goal is for at least 90% of employees and health care providers to receive the shot.
The following vaccine clinics are scheduled for the Nebraska Medical Center, lower Storz Pavilion:
- Friday, Oct. 13, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Thursday, Oct. 19, 7 to 11 a.m.
- Friday, Oct. 20, 7 to 11 a.m.
- Wednesday, Oct. 25, 7 to 11 a.m.
- Friday, Oct. 27, 8 a.m. to noon
- Thursday, Nov. 2, 8 a.m. to noon
- Friday, Nov. 3, noon to 3 p.m.
- Wednesday, Nov. 8, 7 a.m. to noon
- Thursday, Nov. 9, 8 a.m. to noon
