This fall and winter, during a time when many like to reflect on the past year, Munroe-Meyer Institute patients and families are invited to take a moment to share what they’re thankful for this season at the institute.

“Thankful” pages will be available in every department, as well as in the main lobby, starting in November and through the month of January. Pages — available in English and Spanish — will feature lines to write what you’re thankful for as well as space to draw a picture.

“We’re grateful for you. What are you grateful for?” said Kim Falk, president of the MMI Quality Council. “This is a time when we’re celebrating our family and friends, and we want our patients and clients to have the opportunity to do that as well.”

If clients are willing, some letters and pictures may be displayed in the MMI Recreational Therapy Department, in shadow boxes on the second floor or on social media, Falk said.
