Panelists to discuss writing for wellness

UNMC faculty, staff and students are invited to participate in a creative writing panel discussion presented by the UNMC Medical Humanities group on Thursday, Nov. 16, from 4-5:30 p.m.

Attendees will hear from talented UNMC authors about their writing journey, the motivation behind their writing and how writing can inspire creativity and promote wellness. 

The “Writing for Wellness” panelists include: Lydia Kang, MD; Brandon Morehouse; Byers “Bud” Shaw Jr., MD; Kent Sievers; and panel facilitator Stacey Coleman.

Attendees are invited to attend in-person or virtually. A limited number of in-person seats are available and will be given on a first-come, first-serve basis in the Wigton Heritage Center, Dr. Leland and Dorothy Olson Atrium, on the Omaha campus.

Whether attending in-person or virtually, individuals must register here by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 14.
