Due to the weather, colleagues can park in any employee lot through Monday, Jan. 15.
Due to the extremely frigid temperatures and weather, in the spirit of colleague safety, UNMC Parking Services is temporarily authorizing Nebraska Medicine and UNMC staff to park in any employee parking stall at the med center until 11:59 p.m. Monday, Jan. 15.
Please do not park in any specialized stalls, such as ones reserved for ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act), emergency services or otherwise reserved. Also, do not park in any lot, structure or stall reserved for patient/visitor parking.
On Tuesday, Jan. 16, all colleagues must return to parking in their regularly assigned lot.
Please stay safe and be mindful of potential slick spots on sidewalks and streets.
Facilities are rounding to keep the buildings and grounds as safe as possible for patients and colleagues.
