The UNMC Department of Pediatrics has released its annual report, showcasing the efforts of a growing department that has been bolstered by the collaboration between UNMC and Children’s Nebraska.

The 2022-23 report features the department’s growth of clinical services and programs, educational opportunities for trainees and faculty, and research innovations and awards.
In her “Message from the Chair,” Kari Simonsen, MD, Carol Remmer Angle, MD, Presidential Chair of Pediatrics, said: “None of this great work would be possible without the partnership and collaboration of our leaders and colleagues at UNMC and Children’s Nebraska.”
“The organizational power that has been aligned through the Institutional Affiliation Agreement,” Dr. Simonsen wrote, “has transformed our faculty, our programs and our ability to positively impact the lives of children both here and around the world.”
