For the Greater Good: Giving day runs until noon

Student Peyton Hainline, from the UNMC College of Allied Health Professions, found one of 10 plush Ellie labs hidden across UNMC's Omaha campus, offering a gift value she could donate to her preferred cause, and posted her find online.

After a phenomenal start to For the Greater Good, donors have a fresh chance this morning to make meaningful gifts to the important causes at UNMC and Nebraska Medicine.

UNMC and Nebraska Medicine’s second annual 24-hour day of giving runs through noon today (March 28).

To celebrate the event, faculty, students and staff are invited to the Durham Research Center this morning from 8:30 to 11 a.m. to take a break and get a free cup of coffee from The Chocolate Season.

Donors are encouraged to share about For the Greater Good online and with their family, friends and colleagues.

Go to the For the Greater Good websitegreatergoodgivingday.org – to see the many opportunities to give to UNMC colleges and institutes, student organizations, causes and more.

Donors can amplify this year’s giving day by contributing to one of more than 75 unique challenges totaling more than $570,000 in additional funding. See this link to explore the donor challenges available For the Greater Good.
