The SHARING Clinics will host the “SHARING the Green” golf tournament on Friday, Oct. 4, to raise funds for UNMC’s student-run clinics, which provide free high-quality medical care to Omaha’s underserved populations.

The tournament will be held at Eagle Hills Golf Course, 501 Eagle Hills Drive in Papillion, Nebraska. Registration begins at 2:30 p.m. with a shotgun start at 3 p.m., followed by dinner, prizes and a silent auction at 6 p.m. The scramble tournament includes nine holes with cart, range balls, dinner and prizes.

“This golf tournament is a long-standing tradition and our most important fundraiser of the year,” said medical student Kari Havyer, one of this year’s fundraising coordinators. “The funds raised make up half of our operational budget and enable us to continue serving the people of Omaha.”

Registration is $300 for a four-person team (includes nine holes, golf cart, range balls, buffet dinner and prize eligibility). Not a golfer, but want to support the student-run clinics? Attend the 6 p.m. dinner and silent auction for only $20. Student pricing is available. In addition, a variety of sponsorship levels are available, ranging from $300 to sponsor a student team to $7,500 for a corporate sponsorship.

The SHARING Clinics are UNMC’s student-run clinics and provide free, high-quality medical care to Omaha’s underserved populations. Serving patients at four locations, the clinics offer valuable educational and community engagement opportunities for UNMC students across diverse health professions.
