How I fell in love with my field:

The kidneys are such a wildly underappreciated organ. I fell in love with the complexity and systemic interplay the kidneys have with the entire body, and one of my greatest passions is translating the love I have for this field to other trainees and my patient families. Seeing patients feel empowered to manage a chronic disease and understand their bodies is what being a pediatrician is all about.

  • My husband and I grow super-hot peppers and make our own hot sauce.
