UNMC’s winter commencement ceremony will be held Friday, Dec. 19, at 7 p.m. at Baxter Arena, 2425 S. 67th St. Here is some information to know for participants and their guests.
Academic attire pick up
All commencement attire must be picked up in the Williams Science Hall, second floor, on Wednesday, Dec. 17, between 8:30 a.m. and 6 p.m.

Schedule and logistics
- Both free parking and paid reserved parking options are available at Baxter Arena. View the parking map.
- Baxter Arena allows only clear bags and small clutch-sized purses at entry. This applies to all students and guests attending the ceremony. View the Baxter Arena clear bag policy details.
- Graduates will be seated on the main floor of the arena. Guests will not be allowed on the arena’s main floor at any time.
- The ceremony will last for approximately 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
