Interim UNMC Chancellor H. Dele Davies, MD, will be joined by Nebraska Medicine CEO Michael Ash, MD, and Clarkson Regional Health Services’ CEO Bill Lydiatt, MD, for a special all-campus forum Tuesday, Jan. 27.
The forum will begin at noon in the Sorrell Center, Room 1005, and provide the med community an opportunity to hear from campus leaders and ask questions related to the governance of Nebraska Medicine.
The forum also will be available via Zoom; the link can be found on the campus intranet.
Conversations continue following the University of Nebraska Board of Regents’ Jan. 15 vote to accept Clarkson Regional Health Services’ offer to assume sole-governance. On Jan. 22, the two entities announced a reconstituted interim board of directors for Nebraska Medicine that will be led by Dr. Davies. On Tuesday, Drs. Davies, Ash and Lydiatt will update the campus community, including next steps in moving toward a sole-governance structure.
Attendees may ask questions during the forum or in advance by emailing the UNMC Strategic Communications team. An American Sign Language interpreter will take part in the event.
