The Nebraska Medical Choir is looking for new members who enjoy singing and want to share music with others.
The choir, which is launching its spring concert session, is open to all faculty, students and staff, as well as their adult family and friends. No audition is required, membership is free, and singers of all experience levels are welcome.
While some music background can be helpful, it is not required. The choir is especially hoping to add more male voices this spring, so if this is a great time to join.
Rehearsal and performance schedule:
- Rehearsals: Mondays, 6-7 p.m. Doors open at 5:45 p.m.
- Location: Truhlsen Campus Events Center in the Sorrell Center
- Rehearsal dates: Feb. 9-May 4
- Dress rehearsal: May 4 at the University of Nebraska at Omaha’s Strauss Performing Arts Center
- Concert: May 6 at the Strauss Performing Arts Center, Christensen Concert Hall
- Additional optional performance: April 25
