The UNMC Office of Global Engagement will hold its sixth International Photo Contest today (March 6) through March 29.
“The Office of Global Engagement is delighted to celebrate six years of storytelling through photography,” said Jane Meza, PhD, interim vice chancellor for academic affairs. “This contest is a highlight for us — it’s a wonderful opportunity to see the world through the eyes of our students and faculty.”
Participants are invited to submit up to three of their favorite travel photos for the contest. The online submission process will be through the Office of Global Engagement website, where participants can find the official contest rules and the submission form.
This year, submissions will be grouped into three categories: Cityscapes/architecture, landscapes/nature and people/animals.
Photos will be judged based on originality and creativity, photographic quality and communication of culture and place/theme. All judging will be done anonymously. A grand prize will be awarded, as well as a winning photo from each category in both the student/resident and faculty/staff divisions. Do not submit previously entered photos from previous years’ competitions.
