UNMC held its Match Day 2026 ceremony on March 20 at the Omaha Design Center, as 124 medical students found out where they matched into residency programs across the country.
The day brought high emotions as the students discovered their next steps into the health care professions.
In all, the 124 students will be take on residencies in 30 different states, with more than one-third of the matches staying in Nebraska.
