The annual For the Greater Good is planting seeds that grow into lasting impact by raising critical support for students, innovative programs, patient care, faculty, staff, providers and health care professionals who plant the groundwork for the UNMC and Nebraska Medicine’s mission and help it bloom every day.
The 24-hour online giving day will be held from noon April 22 to noon April 23.
Donors can make a direct impact on the areas that matter most by becoming a “You + 2 Champion” during this year’s For the Greater Good. By becoming a champion and inviting friends and family to participate, supporters can raise critical support for scholarships, innovative programs and lifesaving research that benefit the Omaha community and beyond.
To become a “You + 2 Champion”:
- Visit the For the Greater Good website, find an area to support, click the “CHAMPION” button and fill out a brief form.
- Make a gift of $5 or more.
- Share the custom champion link and invite two supporters to make a gift through your link.
Gifts can be made through the personal champion giving link until noon on Thursday, April 23. When two or more people give through your link, you’ll help generosity grow across our community. As a thank-you for helping make things bloom, donors will receive a pair of socks branded with the UNMC and Nebraska Medicine logo.
