UNMC Interim Chancellor H. Dele Davies, MD, will present his annual address to the faculty at the UNMC Faculty Senate’s annual faculty meeting scheduled for today (April 15). The title of Dr. Davies’ presentation is “Moving Boldly Forward, Together.”
Dr. Davies will highlight UNMC’s momentum in education, research, clinical care, statewide impact and strategic priorities for the future.

This year’s faculty awards also will be presented at the meeting. The awardees are:

- Tiffany Moore, PhD, associate professor in the UNMC College of Nursing
- Lisa Rucks, PhD, professor in the UNMC Department of Pathology, Microbiology and Immunology
Outstanding Faculty Mentor of Junior Faculty
Outstanding Teacher
- Amy Cannella, MD, Gerald F. Moore Professor of Rheumatology
- Katherine Hyde, PhD, associate professor in the UNMC Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology
- Joseph Vetro, PhD, associate professor in the UNMC Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences
