Beginning Thursday, July 16, the southbound lane of 42nd Street — between Leavenworth and Emile Streets – will be closed as construction crews replace an underground water valve.
Northbound traffic will not be impacted during the closure, which is scheduled to run until July 27.
Drivers headed southbound from Emile Street can either head east to 41st Street and then south to Leavenworth Street, or travel west and connect with Saddle Creek Road.
