New signage installed to ease wayfinding

New signage was installed at MMI's entrances to help guests navigate the building.

New signage at the Munroe-Meyer Institute is designed to help clients and guests better navigate the building.

Three exterior doors now boast vinyl signs displaying names, hours and directions to find other entrances.

Each entrance also features letters for easy wayfinding — A at the main entrance, B at the recreation therapy entrance, C at the specialized behavior entrance, and D at the loading dock.

“The new signage was put in place to improve the patient experience,” said Melonie Welsh, associate dean of MMI Community Engagement. “We hope easier wayfinding before an appointment can help things go more smoothly for our patients and families.”
