UNMC conferred degrees on 209 students during last week’s winter commencement ceremonies in Scottsbluff, Kearney, Lincoln and Omaha.

UNMC Chancellor Harold M. Maurer, M.D., encouraged students at the Omaha commencement to be adaptable, flexible and creative while working toward their goals.

“Capitalize on your strengths and maintain focus to make this time the best,” Dr. Maurer said. “Don’t allow events and circumstances that you cannot control to deter you from your lifelong goals…I am confident that your education at UNMC has given you the knowledge and skills that you need to succeed.”

UNMC commencement ceremonies included graduates from the School of Allied Health Professions, the College of Nursing and Graduate College.
