The Nebraska Medical Center has taken a step toward improved customer service with the introduction of a valet parking program. The service, which began Sept. 1, is available to patients, families and visitors from 5:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Valet personnel are stationed at the main entrances to Clarkson Tower and the Durham Outpatient Center. Visitors can pull up to the front door of these areas and valet personnel will park their cars in one of 50 stalls that have been reserved at both locations. While improving guest relations, valet parking also should improve traffic flow in patient/visitor parking areas.
AVP, Inc., will staff the valet program. Cyndi Nelson, operations manager, Access Services, will be the contract manager for the program.
