The results are in from this year’s Working Caregiver Survey, conducted by Nebraska Lifespan Respite Network.

"Our goal is to find ways to better support working caregivers and help them remain active members of the workforce while being a caregiver of a friend or family member with a disability, chronic health condition or aging parents or grandparents," said Kim Falk, respite employer engagement coordinator, Munroe-Meyer Institute.

The network provides an anonymous data report to each employer with their survey results. You can see that report here.

"Employers are encouraged to use the information from these reports to better support the working caregivers on their team," Falk said.

The Nebraska Lifespan Respite Network plans to provide additional resources for caregivers on its website. The website offers information on respite funding programs, finding a network screened respite provider, respite resources for employers, and the importance of caregivers taking a break from their caregiver role.
