How I fell in love with medicine and my specialty: The people I work with – patients – and I appreciate the impact we have on folks’ lives.

Three things people might not know about me:

• Despite being from Iowa, I am not the biggest fan of University of Iowa sports teams. 
• I love playing volleyball. I did so throughout undergrad, medical school and residency, and would love to continue that here, especially with how good Nebraska is at the sport.
• I am an avid tabletop gamer and video game player. I love to create stories and characters with friends and explore new, exciting worlds regularly, challenging myself and building skills nearly every single day.
