How I fell in love with medicine and my specialty: I fell in love with dermatology because of the way it rewards close observation. Subtleties on the skin, often overlooked at first glance, can completely change the diagnostic picture. I’m drawn to the challenge of distinguishing between similar presentations and the patients’ satisfaction of uncovering the correct diagnosis through careful attention to details.
