Dr. Rana to discuss STAMPP hypertension management

Sarosh Rana, MD, will give a virtual presentation on “STAMPP: Systemic Treatment and Management of Postpartum Hypertension” on Tuesday, Nov. 11, at noon CDT.

This presentation is part of the Olson Center for Women’s Health and UNMC College of Nursing Continuing interProfessional Development and Innovation webinar series. 

Dr. Rana is chair of the UNMC Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the Chris J. and Marie A. Olson Endowed Professor. She will discuss gaps in postpartum hypertension management that contribute to poor maternal health outcomes and describe the impact hospital-based programs have on compliance with postpartum hypertension management. She also will explain the importance of blood pressure management in reducing disparities in health care.
