Celebrate the season with the Nebraska Medical Orchestra and Choir at its Eighth Annual Winter Concert on Wednesday, Dec. 3.
The concert brings together health care professionals, students and community members from across Nebraska for a night of music, connection and holiday cheer.
This year, the Nebraska Medical Orchestra and Choir will partner with the Brain Injury Association of Nebraska as the evening’s featured community organization.
Before the concert, the Brain Injury Association of Nebraska will host a reception featuring light refreshments, live music and an in-person viewing of “A Peace of My Mind” — a storytelling gallery by artist John Noltner, sharing the voices and experiences of Nebraskans affected by brain injury.
The pre-concert reception begins at 6:15 p.m., followed by the concert from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. It will be held at the University of Nebraska at Omaha’s Strauss Performing Arts Center, Christensen Concert Hall, 6305 University Drive North.
Admission is free. Find more information at this event listing.
The evening’s program includes performances by both the medical choir and medical orchestra, concluding with an uplifting holiday sing-along that invites everyone to join in the spirit of the season.
The public and the medical center community are invited to join the Nebraska Medical Orchestra and Choir for an evening of music, community and compassion, not only in celebration of the holidays but also in support of a vital cause.
