On Monday (Jan. 12), the Microsoft 365 and Security teams will be implementing Safe Links and Link Protection in Microsoft Teams.
Link Protection scans URLs posted in teams chats, channels or meeting conversations. If a potentially harmful link is detected, a warning will be displayed.
Safe Links will actively remove harmful URLs from the conversation after scanning them, and the sender and recipient will see a message like this:

If a medical center user receives this message and believes the link is legitimate, they must put in a ticket and the security team will investigate and remediate the issue.
