UNMC faculty, staff and students are invited to join Interim Chancellor H. Dele Davies, MD, on Tuesday, Feb. 10, for this month’s all-campus forum.
Dr. Davies will be joined by guests Heidi Keeler, PhD, assistant vice chancellor with the UNMC Office of Community Engagement, and Charlotte Evans, associate vice chancellor of public safety and chief of police.
The forum will take place from noon to 1 p.m. in the Harold M. and Beverly Maurer Center for Public Health, Room 3013, on the Omaha campus. The forum also will be available via Zoom; the link can be found on the campus intranet.
Attendees will hear about the med center’s longstanding commitment to community engagement, which resulted in UNMC being awarded the 2026 Carnegie Community Engagement Classification. Leaders also will report on work that’s been done since the Nov. 14 fire in the Durham Research Center; UNMC’s incident command model, which is used during campus incidents; and legislative issues impacting the university.
Questions can be asked during or before the forum. To ask a question in advance, email the UNMC Strategic Communications team. An American Sign Language interpreter will take part in the event.
