How I fell in love with my field of practice:

I have always loved children and consider myself a child at heart. You know that when you can sing along to most classic Disney movie soundtracks that you are meant to be a pediatrician. In all seriousness, though, I have always had a passion for advocating for children, who are often unable to do so for themselves. Being a pediatrician has allowed me to serve as that advocate while also being fun and goofy and wearing fun sparkly badge reels.

Education:

  • Residency in pediatrics, UNMC, Creighton University and Children’s Nebraska combined program, 2022-25
  • Medical degree, Creighton University School of Medicine, 2018-22
  • Bachelor of arts, Creighton University, 2014-18

Membership:

  • American Academy of Pediatrics

Three things people might not know about me:

  • I am in my toddler mom era – thriving and surviving on caffeine and random dance parties to 2000s music hits with my kiddos.
  • I have recently joined the yoga sculpt movement. No regrets there.
  • I love to read (fiction only) and often can be found with a book or Kindle in hand.

Clinical location:

  • Munroe-Meyer Institute
