Transition to new work apps platform to begin

Close up female doctor using smartphone at workplace, access records, review medical histories, conduct virtual consultations with patients, provide advice, prescribe medication through telehealth app

UNMC and Nebraska Medicine colleagues may notice a change starting Friday, May 29, when launching work apps on their personal devices. This is due to Nebraska Medicine and UNMC transitioning to a new platform to access work apps.

Last week, news was shared about transitioning from the Intelligent Hub to Microsoft Intune Company Portal on personal devices.

No action is required to be taken by colleagues at this time. More information about the upcoming migration to Intune and the steps of installing it will be shared in a UNMC Today and Nebraska Medicine NOW article next week.

In the meantime, users may begin to see a different prompt on their phone when launching a work app, as shown in the screenshot below. For now, continue to choose “Intelligent Hub – Appstore (Legacy).”

Users also may receive an additional Duo prompt when launching a work app from their phone. Both of these are temporary measures during migration. When the Intelligent Hub platform is retired, these additional prompts should be removed.
