Retirement reception for Dr. Meyer is June 25

Kyle Meyer, PhD

The UNMC College of Allied Health Professions will host a retirement reception for Kyle Meyer, PhD, June 25, 2-4 p.m., at the Olson Atrium in the Wigton Heritage Center. The UNMC community is invited to join the celebration.

Dr. Meyer, founding dean of the college, stepped down as dean effective May 1, after leading allied health for 20 years. An alum of the UNMC Physical Therapy Program and Graduate College, Dr. Meyer has worked at UNMC for 35 years.

UNMC Interim Chancellor H. Dele Davies, MD, will serve as emcee for the program, which begins at 2:30 p.m.
