The UNMC College of Allied Health Professions will host a retirement reception for Kyle Meyer, PhD, June 25, 2-4 p.m., at the Olson Atrium in the Wigton Heritage Center. The UNMC community is invited to join the celebration.
Dr. Meyer, founding dean of the college, stepped down as dean effective May 1, after leading allied health for 20 years. An alum of the UNMC Physical Therapy Program and Graduate College, Dr. Meyer has worked at UNMC for 35 years.
UNMC Interim Chancellor H. Dele Davies, MD, will serve as emcee for the program, which begins at 2:30 p.m.

Kyle, your vision of the importance of Allied health professionals in the complicated healthcare delivery system has paid countless dividends to UNMC and Nebraska. It’s been a pleasure to have joined you at the start of your career. Rick and Connie Spellman.
