In October, a handful of UNMC departments will move into the newly renovated Leavenworth Service Center on the southern edge of the UNMC Omaha campus.
The two-story building, formerly known as Community Alliance, is scheduled to open in early October. Initially, it will house UNMC Human Resources, Parking Services, Photo ID and Key Administration.
UNMC Human Resources will move out of the Administration Building and into the Leavenworth Service Center on Friday, Oct. 2. The remaining offices – Parking Services, Photo ID and UNMC Key Administration – which are currently located in the 4230 Building, will move to their new location on Friday, Oct. 9. There should be little to no disruption of services during the moves, and offices will reopen at their new location the following Monday.
The University of Nebraska Police and Public Safety is scheduled to be relocated within the Leavenworth Service Center in 2027.
The Leavenworth Service Center (4001 Leavenworth Street) is located across Leavenworth Street and directly south of the Lauritzen Outpatient Center.
