Campus progress impacts pedestrian traffic

Since the beginning of August, the pedestrian traffic route on 45th Street (also known as Durham Research Plaza) between Durham Research Center (DRC) and the Munroe-Meyer Institute has been closed for road and utility infrastructure work in conjunction with the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center roundabout.

The roundabout will be located at the corner of 45th Street and Dewey Avenue.

Sidewalk access from Saddle Creek Road to the DRC also will be impacted. The work is scheduled to be completed in early 2017.

Employees are asked to mention these updates to colleagues, and continue to observe all safety and directional signage around the site.

All questions should be directed to UNMC Facilities Help Desk at 402-559-4050 or Chris Johnson, Nebraska Medicine Facilities at 402-552-3292.
