Taylor earns Chancellor’s Gold ‘U’ Award
When Robin Taylor decided to return to work, her teen-age daughter encouraged her to “find the world.” She did — literally down the street — at UNMC.
An administrative technician for UNMC’s Center of Neurovirology and Neurodegenerative Disorders, Taylor works with a diverse group of people from varying ethnic and educational backgrounds on special projects, grants and administrative functions. For her outstanding job performance, Taylor has received the Chancellor’s Gold ‘U’ Award for October.

There are still spaces available for UNMC faculty, staff and students to attend today’s employee roundtable session, which will focus on health care access and involve a discussion with University Medical Associates about how to improve service and accessibility to healthcare providers on campus. The session will be from noon to 1 p.m. in Wittson Hall, Room 3042.

Old photo I.D. cards have expired
UNMC employees and students, as well as UMA employees, who have not obtained new photo identification cards are reminded to do so as soon as possible. UNMC began recarding the campus on June 24th, and the old photo I.D. cards are no longer a valid form of identification.

NU Central Administration Internet domain name change
University of Nebraska Central Administration is in the process of adopting the Internet domain name “nebraska.edu” as its official network name. E-mail addresses and Web site URLs for the four University of Nebraska campuses will NOT change. However, personal address book entries should be changed to reflect new addresses for colleagues in central administration and the Foundation. See article for more information.
