UNMC to manage University Health Center in Lincoln

UNMC will assume the management of the University Health Center (UHC) at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, effective later this summer. Over the next year, UNMC will assess the current operations and care delivery of the center, and will collaborate with UHC staff, UNL students and other stakeholders in developing a long-term business plan for the UHC.

Construction update – Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center

With over half of the structural foundation piers in place, the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center is going vertical. The addition of the second crane located in the northeast corner of the project site allows crews to expand the footprint of the concrete structure facility. Over the next few months, horizontal slabs will be poured to form the lower levels of the Suzanne and Walter Scott Research Tower.
